Handcrafted lapsteel guitar with a vintage pickup.
Here’s a real treat for those who are looking for an authentic vintage sound. The Horse Shoe lapsteel is named after its very interesting pickup that was harvested from a handmade two-neck lap steel from the sixties. It consists of a hefty bobbin, skilfully wrapped in butchers paper and solid horseshoe magnet! And boy, can it growl!
The body is made from one piece of heavy ash wood that beautifully carries the vibration of the strings. Its fretboard is made from a piece of black oak with cherry binding and copper markers. The lot is decorated with hand-embossed leather and brass studs.
