DASHTICK BLUEBIRD CITTERN
An old-world voice in an electric body.
A five-string solid-body cittern, reimagined through the raw, handmade aesthetics of Dashtick Guitars. Part folk instrument, part electric oddity, the Bluebird brings traditional stringed-instrument DNA into an entirely different territory.
A fully fretted neck with a wenge fretboard and flamed ash binding combines dark, understated elegance with the unmistakable character of hand-built craftsmanship. At the top, a handcrafted bluebird headstock gives the instrument its own little personality — a strange bird for stranger sounds.
An original Flatpup humbucker delivers a punchy, focused electric voice, ready for everything from earthy folk melodies and ringing open-string drones to gritty amplification and experimental textures.
Five strings, a solid body and a bird that doesn't sing quite like the others.
Folk roots. Electric bones.
