DASHTICK MANDOLIN
Old-world strings. Unconventional bones.
A hollow-body mandolin with a distinctly Dashtick character — traditional in spirit, but built with an eye for unusual materials and handmade detail.
The flamed ash body brings natural figuring and warmth, paired with a black oak fretboard edged in flamed ash binding. Brass frets and abalone markers add flashes of metal and iridescence against the dark wood, while a red ribbon padauk bridge provides a bold, unexpected accent.
An original Flatpup humbucker gives this little stringed creature an amplified voice of its own, taking it beyond traditional mandolin territory into punchy, earthy tones and experimental textures.
A meeting of figured wood, brass, colour and electricity. Familiar enough to recognise, strange enough to belong somewhere else.
Hollow wood. Brass frets. Red padauk. Electric attitude.
